About Greenwich Performs
Greenwich Performs is an arts festival based in Greenwich, London, featuring music, theatre, dance and outdoor events. This celebration of the arts builds upon the original Greenwich Festival, paying homage to an array of art disciplines and a range of activities, performances and community events
Greenwich Performs brings together unique arts-based events over 10 days in beautiful and iconic venues in and around SE10. Performances are taking place at the Laban Theatre, the Old Royal Naval College, the Queen’s House, the Painted Hall, Morden College and many more.
The festival begins on Friday 4th October with a spectacular firework display and songs from the Rock Choir at The Point, as well as the Vegan Oktoberfest at Greenwich Market.
The final Saturday will feature a procession designed and led by Emergency Exit Arts involving local schools, and the Young Urban Arts Foundation Outreach Bus will be hosting music workshops in Cutty Sark Gardens. The penultimate event on the 12th, will be a magnificent evening at the Painted Hall, titled Music and Majesty, featuring singers from Opera Prelude and musicians from Trinity College of Music. The grand finale on Sunday 13th October will be announced soon!
