Greenwich Performs and Morden College is excited to announce an exclusive Chamber Music concert in The Chapel of Morden College.
Morden College was founded by Sir John Morden in 1695, building on the north-east 11 acres of Wricklemarsh Manor, Blackheath. His intention was to provide board, lodging and a pension for traders who have fallen on hard times. Morden College is an exceptional Charity that has been at the forefront of enriching older people’s lives for more than 300 years.
Join us for a pre-show reception with drinks and nibbles followed by a welcome from David Rutherford-Jones and culminating in The Chapel with a beautiful performance from a string quartet. The music for the evening will be; Mozart quartet no.14 in G major k387 "spring", and Crisantemi by Puccini - 7 mins
Doors open at 18:45 for the drinks reception, with a performance time of 19:20. Tickets are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment!

The quartet are postgraduate scholars at Trinity College of Music in Greenwich, at the outset of their professional musical careers. They are all keen to explore the openings as soloists, as chamber music performers and as orchestral players.
Ben Richardson leads the Quartet. He is a Peter Harris Trust scholar at Trinity having achieved 1st Class Honours in his Bachelor of Music Course. Anja Jamsek was a prize winner in international music competitions in Milan and Belgrade. Peter Fenech holds 2 scholarships at Trinity to study with the British violist Roger Chase. Eliane Soderman is developing a considerable reputation as a cellist in Chamber music ensembles.
