MISSION

VISION

Greenwich Performs is a London festival and celebration of the arts. Bringing people and community together through live events in music, dance, art + theatre.

We are dedicated to delivering a jam-packed programme of creativity, community and cheer!

Greenwich Performs is a not-for-profit supporting the Arts and usually, all profit is invested back into the running costs for future years. However, as this year is very different all profit from 2020 will be donated to NHS COVID-19 Emergency Appeals.

GOALS

AMBITION

  • To deliver an outstanding festival for all residents and visitors.

  • To programme an equal share of free and paid events to remain accessible to all.

  • Support the independent Arts, Creative, Events + Hospitality industries to deliver a cultural celebration of Greenwich.

  • To provide a platform for up and coming artists and creatives to perform alone and alongside established performers.

  • Engage and inspire new audiences whilst paying tribute to history and tradition.

HISTORY

FUNDING

Greenwich Performs began in 2018 as a homage to the former Greenwich Festival, with its reputation of excellent cultural performances in the local area.

We are now in our third year and promise to deliver a remarkable week of festivities. To view 2019's calendar of events, take a look here!

Greenwich Performs is made possible by funding and support from the Peter & Teresa Harris Charitable Trust and our incredible Partners + Sponsors. In 2019 the festival received an additional contribution from the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Community Art Fund.
